Ignite Performing Arts Ensemble programs are a creative, cross-genre education for aspiring performers of all ages. In our Ensemble programs, performers can build their skills sequentially as they grow, with each year laying a solid foundation for the next.
Our carefully crafted programs give members the tools to develop into lifelong musicians who can express themselves creatively, all while thriving in our Ignite Performing Arts community of like-minded players.
Who We Are
The Macomb Area Community Band was formed in 2000 to provide a place for former high school and collegiate musicians to be able to enjoy playing in a large ensmeble setting again! Our members have a variety of musical backgrounds and occupations, but have one thing in common: We all enjoy performing concert band literature and contributing to the cultural fabric of the Macomb Area.
We welcome experienced players of any concert band instrument to get in contact if they are interested in performing with us. The MAC Band plays Concert Band Music of all genres and seeks to enrich the community through musical performances that include a variety of selections!
