Ignite Performing Arts Ensemble programs are a creative, cross-genre education for aspiring performers of all ages. In our Ensemble programs, performers can build their skills sequentially as they grow, with each year laying a solid foundation for the next.

Our carefully crafted programs give members the tools to develop into lifelong musicians who can express themselves creatively, all while thriving in our Ignite Performing Arts community of like-minded players. 

Spark Jazz

The Illuminate Jazz Incentive is Ignite Performing Arts’ mission to incentivize participation in jazz performance/education for all members of our community. Spark Jazz consists of middle school musicians with at least one year of experience on their instruments who are excited to learn and develop the fundamentals of JAZZ!

Led by professional faculty, our jazz ensembles are catered to all levels of performers. Whether you are learning jazz for the first time or have years of experience, joining an Ignite Jazz Ensemble will allow you to solidify your skills and grow as a jazz musician.

  • Spark Jazz rehearsals vary per cycle. Here are the dates/times for the summer cycle!

    • Spark Jazz (Middle School): 9:00am-11:00am, starting 6/16

    Here are the exact dates of our upcoming cycle:

    • Monday, 6/16 (Spark Jazz begins)

    • Monday, 6/23

    • Monday, 6/30

    • Monday, 7/7

    • Monday, 7/14

    • Free Public Concert - Monday, 7/14 @11:30am

    • Weekly performance classes/rehearsals for the performers, for the duration of the cycle

    • 1 free concert for the community

    • A commemorative t-shirt for the performer

    • Fun activities to inspire creativity + build friendships

  • Mark your calendars! The Spark Jazz showcases for 2025 are planned:

    • Spark Jazz Summer Showcase: Monday, July 14th at 11:30am @ Ardis Music Recital Hall

    • Spark Jazz Fall Showcase: TBD

  • Spark Jazz (Middle School) Tuition:

    • $180 per cycle

Ignite Performing Arts Ensembles are first come, first serve. Advanced ensembles may require an audition. Upon completion of the registration form, you will be redirected to our Store where tuition must be paid to reserve your spot.
