Ignite Performing Arts Ensemble programs are a creative, cross-genre education for aspiring performers of all ages. In our Ensemble programs, performers can build their skills sequentially as they grow, with each year laying a solid foundation for the next.

Our carefully crafted programs give members the tools to develop into lifelong musicians who can express themselves creatively, all while thriving in our Ignite Performing Arts community of like-minded players. 

Illuminate Jazz Incentive

The Illuminate Jazz Incentive is Ignite Performing Arts’ mission to incentivize participation in jazz performance/education for all members of our community. Shine Jazz is our adult community jazz band, consisting of hobbyist musicians, semi-professionals, and some professionals in their craft!

Led by professional faculty, our jazz ensembles are catered to all levels of performers. Whether you are learning jazz for the first time or have years of experience, joining an Ignite Jazz Ensemble will allow you to solidify your skills and grow as a jazz musician.

  • Shine Jazz rehearsals vary from cycle to cycle.

    • Spring Cycle: Sundays, 12:30p-2:00p @ Ardis Music in Mt. Clemens

    • Summer Cycle: TBD

    • Fall Cycle: TBD

    • Weekly performance classes/rehearsals for the performers, for the duration of the cycle

    • 1 free concert for the community

    • Fun activities to inspire creativity + build friendships and improve jazz musicianship

  • Mark your calendars! The Shine Jazz showcases for 2025 are planned:

    • Spring Showcase: Saturday, June 14th at 1:00pm @ St. Clair Shores Museum Lawn

    • Summer Showcase: TBD

    • Fall Showcase: TBD

  • Shine Jazz (Adult) Tuition:

    $25 per cycle

Ignite Performing Arts Ensembles are first come, first serve. Advanced ensembles may require an audition. Upon completion of the registration form, you will be redirected to our Donate page where tuition must be paid to reserve your spot.
